Concentrated flavours of dark berries cassis plums and hints of spice are found on the nose. These flavours flow harmoniously together onto a medium-bodied pallet that is lightly coated with velvety tannins.
Crimson color due to its youthfull nature and restraint of oak use. The aromas are an intense combination of indian spices, bitter cherry and cloves. On taste it shows abundant red fruit flavors with classic dry tannin structure and fresh finish.
Deep ruby red, great complexity on the nose show initial liquorice and chocolate aromas which gives way to hints of dark cherries. A very well structured wine with lovely integrated tannins, characteristic of a Cabernet based blend. Ripe red fruit are prominent on the palate with a lengthy, smooth finish.
Exuding classic violets and spice nuances, theShiraz lends a clean, fresh structure to the wine,whilst the Petit Verdot adds black fruit, spice andspunk to the blend, and the Sangiovese the final,refined touches with its clean fruit and smack oftomato paste.
A wine to ward off evil spirits or an icy winter. Consisting mainly of press wine – the last drops pressed from the skins after fermentation – this blend is concentrated in the extreme. While the spiciness of French Oak lends an air of sophistication, this is not a wine that will be revered for its subtlety.
A medley of small berry and fruit flavours, including blackcurrant, raspberry, strawberry, mulberry and blackberry combine with a hint of anise and vanilla to give a wine that is instantly gratifying in flavour whilst showing good structure and tannin concentration to allow for some maturation. Bottled under screwcap to ensure quality.
This wine is created to show the fresh, fruity and spice driven flavours of these Rhone varietals. The colour is youthful and purple red. The nose is one of crushed black pepper, dark mulberry and mixed berry coulis.
This ruby red charmer personifies sophistication with a hint of mischief. This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (70%) and Merlot (30%) is sure to entice the senses. Sweet black cherries and classic cassis flavours tempt the nose while concentrated spicy fruit seduce the palate.
Sweet, currant fruit on the nose, with tobacco and cedar. Lighter medium bodied style underpinned by food-friendly acidity courtesy of the Barbera. Supple tannins and oak notes come through on the finish.
Equal amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc dominate, to create the Bordeaux profile for which this wine is known. For the first time, though, Shiraz as added for more complexity and it is probably responsible for the hint of aniseed. The wine is intense on the nose, with cherry and mulberry fruit together with cinnamon spice.
Intensely aromatic, with notes of orange-peel, leather, cigar tobacco, black liquorice and dark-plummy fruit. The Tormentoso Syrah Mourvedre is medium to full bodied with layers of black fruit and leather notes.
Blackcurrant aromas are complemented by scents of dried herbs and notes of black pepper and spice, followed by a palate with serious structure from the Bordeaux varieties and finishing off with softness from the Shiraz.
