The Spice Route Terra de Bron Syrah 2009, grown on the iron heavy Koffieklip soil on Klein Amoskuil, is richly coloured, packed with red and black berry fruit and ripe bloodplums and a grind of white pepper. Beautiful tannins too which will help to age the wine gracefully.

This perfumed Syrah has notes of black pepper, refined black fruit, smoke and herbs. The palate is full bodied and spicy, with a silky texture and a balanced natural acidity. The long finish is fresh and surprisingly long and supple.

Ruby colour. A complex nose with inviting blackcurrant pastille fruit, violets, with supportive white pepper, garrigue (fynbos) and spicy flavours. Well balanced palate that confirms the nose with firm tannin and a lingering peppery aftertaste.

This single-vineyard Syrah addition to the Tamboerskloof stable offers a refined wine showing great complexity. Fresh dark cherries and bramble fruit aromas, herbal notes of lavender, fennel, violets, pepper end in a tobacco finish. A well-structured wine, balanced by good acidity and fine-grained tannins.
