Intense red in the glass. Plummy fruit on the nose with a hint of sweet raspberry and splashes of opulent spice. The palate is complex and layered, revealing further fruit flavours and rich mouthfeel.
Saturated, deep black-red. The full aroma displays rich, concentrated spice, chocolate plumminess with violet and savory notes. The wine's palate is rich, yet subtle. The tannins are soft and ripe, but they give a lot of structure.
The wine has a brilliant deep garnet colour. The nose has an interesting mix of bright pure fruit, mulberries and blackberries, producing heady spicy characters with notes of five spice. The wine enters the palate with power, bursting with bright red and black fruit notes.
A full-bodied wine with an intense deep, red colour. Explosion of ripe fruits on the pallet, combined with spicy undertones of white pepper. Aging for 18 months in French oak gives this wine a good structure. Able to age for 8 years. Ideal match for red meat.
Deep, purple core with a bright ruby tinged rim. Rich, berry fruit nose with lots of ripe, red plum. Some floral herbaceous notes in the background, including violets, lavender and spring blossoms. Rich and full in the mouth with tremendous youthful vigour. Layers of berry fruit with developing spices of pepper, cinnamon, clove and vanilla.
Red purple colour. Pure blackberry fruit with underlying white pepper, liquorice aromas and hints of violets. Elegant but concentrated palate with underlying cedar spice and a finely balanced tannin structure.
Remhoogte is known for producing superb Merlot and the 2009 vintage is no exception. It is absolutely decadent. Aromas of cherries, blackcurrant and fresh mint are backed up by dark chocolate follow through from the nose onto the palate. The finish is very lengthy and smacks of liquorice and cocoa.

The gold rush of the 1800’s led to the discovery of tin in the gravels underlying the Syrah vineyards at Jordan. These minerals lend particular characteristics to this syrah with its rich, dense, dark chocolate, black fruit and fynbos flavours interlaced with white pepper. Barrel maturation adds toasty nuances to the richly textured structure.
To produce this dense and powerful wine, half the crop is dropped during the growing season.Aromas of spicy blackberry and toasty oak lead to complex flavours of ripe berry fruit, violet and currant on the smooth palate.

This dark, ruby colored wine has an intense mix of blackberry and cassis on the nose. The pallet start off with flavors of ripe prune and dark chocolate, under pinned by a light smokiness with well integrated oak and soft, silky tannins. This is a perfectly balanced wine that should be enjoyed in good company.
A harmonious and balanced full bodied wine with juicy red fruit, savoury smoked ham, crushed white pepper and aromatic wood aromas that follow to a well balanced wine with a long finish. The wine has enough acid and grippy tannin to allow for bottle aging for a number years.
